nico, stylist
Nico has completed his education through Shear Ego International School of Beauty and continues to pursue education under the guidance of the Fusion Team. Nico’s technical training includes classes with the following professional companies: Goldwell, L’ANZA and KMS.
Always energetic, Nico has a passion for hair that drives him to create. He makes it a priority for clients to leave beyond satisfied and consistently crafts modern, versatile styles that are molded to fit each client’s needs.
andrea, stylist/Goldwell colorist
Andrea has been a hair designer and makeup artist for 6 years. She is a certified Goldwell Colorist and specializes in the art of hair cutting. She has been licensed through Shear Ego International and her technical training includes classes with following professional companies: Goldwell, L’ANZA, Aveda and L’Oreal.
In addition, Andrea has a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Textile Technology and experience in fashion trend reporting. Using her background, she analyzes the current trends to help clients select specific cut and color combinations that compliment hair texture, face shape and wardrobe.
Andrea has found that educating each client individually creates trust and the ability to maintain one’s style at home.
jes, men’s stylist/creative director
Jes is the vision and owner behind Fusion and its subculture since 2001. He has become a pillar in the Rochester hair community and appreciates each one of his clients and their dedication. Having 12 years experience, Jes is a master at his craft and shares his passion and success with his team members. Over the years, Jes has particularly honed his expertise as a colorist, as well as men’s stylist, and continues developing his male clientele.
Jes spent a period of 4 years living between Rochester and New York City where he established clientele in both locations. While he still maintains his contacts in New York, he has decided to stay rooted in Rochester where clients nationwide come “home” to Fusion for their services.
Fusion was based on the concept of fusing fashion, music, art and education in one environment where anything from organic to edgy rocker hair goes. It is Jes’ passion that has driven the salon, as well as its clients, to achieve this balance and cutting edge style.
